🔍 AI Query Revealer — Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

AI Query Revealer collects the following data:

• Email address — provided during purchase via Stripe, used solely for license key delivery and account management.
• AI search queries and sources — the search queries and cited sources generated by AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude) are intercepted and displayed locally in real-time. This data is stored locally on your device only (via Chrome's storage API) and is never sent to our servers.
• Device fingerprint — a non-reversible hash of browser characteristics (screen size, timezone, language) used to prevent license key sharing. This hash cannot identify you personally.
• License key — stored locally and verified against our server to confirm subscription status.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect browsing history, passwords, personal messages, financial information, or any data outside of AI platform search interactions.
• We do not track your activity across websites.
• We do not use cookies or third-party analytics.

3. How Data Is Stored

All search query and source data remains on your device in Chrome's local storage. It is never transmitted to any external server. The only network calls the extension makes are:

• License activation and periodic verification (to our Supabase backend)
• No other data is sent externally

4. Third-Party Services

• Stripe — processes payments. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — hosts our license verification backend. Only your license key, email, and device fingerprint hash are stored.
• Resend — sends the license key email after purchase. Subject to Resend's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to the core functionality of the extension.

6. Data Retention

Local search data can be cleared at any time from the extension popup. License information is retained in our database while your subscription is active and deleted upon request.

7. Your Rights

You can request deletion of all your data by contacting us. Upon request, we will delete your license record and all associated information from our servers.
